Chic wedding in CÔte d'Azur

Three days in the South of France. Friday started with a welcome dinner at Ella and Greg’s home in Mougins — Ella cooked the whole thing herself, guests around long tables under the evening sky. Saturday was Bastide du Roy in Antibes: garden ceremony officiated by Ella’s mum, a roaming band drifting between candlelit tables, and eighty hand-painted tambourines — one for every guest, each with their name and a lemon motif — that came out when the music kicked in. By sunset the whole thing had turned into an open-air dance party under the stars.

Sunday was a Bastille Day pool party. Three days of Provençal light, good food, and tambourines.
